What the service is
Mold Dawgs provides dog scent detection: a trained detection dog performs a non-invasive sweep of the property and alerts its handler to areas where mold odor may be present. You receive a summary of where the dog alerted.
What the service is not
A dog sweep is a screening tool, not a mold assessment. We do not determine whether mold is definitively present, what type of mold it may be, the extent of any contamination, or whether remediation is necessary. Florida licenses mold assessors for that work, and if you want testing or a formal assessment, we encourage you to hire one. Our alert summary tells you where a licensed professional's attention is most likely to be worth the money.
Access and scheduling
You are responsible for making sure we can legally access the property at the scheduled time, and for letting us know about anything that affects the dog's safety on site, such as other animals, open chemicals, or recent pesticide treatment.
Payment
Payment is due as arranged when you book. Quotes are based on the property and services described in your request; if the property differs materially from what was described, the quote may change before work begins.
