Mold testing by a licensed assessor costs serious money. If you run the dog sweep first, the assessor can test the exact spots the dog alerted on instead of searching the entire house at your expense.

Sweep Before You BuyIf you already paid for mold remediation, bring the dog back after the work is done. If the dog walks past the spots it used to alert on, that tells you something useful about the repair before the containment comes down.
